Born in 1989 in a small town in northern Italy Giulio has been deeply in contact with cooking since a very young age, helping granma´ rolling gnocchi and papa with risottos.
After school Giulio went on to study Economics and Management at the Ca´ Foscari University of Venice. After acquiring his degree he decided with all his heart to turn back to the kitchen, this time with a professional approach.
Since 2012 he has been travelling the world, passing from China and the far East, to the south of Italy working in some of the best kitchen and learning the culinary art from the Masters. It is probably thanks to this unconventional formation that his focus has always been on food that not only tastes and looks good, but is also healthy and nutritionally valid.
About his cooking here at Casa Yogafriends Giulio says:“ Seeing food only taste wise is myopic. Taste is only a volatile experience of a few seconds, sure not secondary, but not more important than the experience of digestion and further absorption of food. Essentially it all comes down to the very famous phrase 'you are what you eat'.“
This is the core of our kitchen at Casa Yogafriends, where we provide you with the best soul food, using only the best, freshest - whereever possible - local ingredients.

"At the core of my own practice and teaching is the concept of challenging ourselves to grow and learn. I feel that through taking time to connect to ourselves we can gain greater understanding, clarity and appreciation for ourselves and others. I believe that we each have a wealth of resources to deal with our lives effectively and live the lives that we love and enjoy.
My overall philosophy is that we can experience great happiness and this starts with ourselves. Through taking care of both our bodies and our minds we can really begin to live to our full potential."
